334 students not only came to Cookie Cafe but stayed to visit. A whole group spent a long time studying together for an EMT exam. Another table spent hours getting larger and larger while they talked and laughed. I just love to see the smiles, the laughter and the shoulders relax. They come in pretty tense and need Cookie Cafe.

We started Cookie Cafe almost 4 years ago. Last week was the first time that my husband and I did not attend and other parents took over. They did a wonderful job, it's nice to see that we can be expendible. It was a refreshing break as we took a little mini vacation.
The cookies were from Northern California, and they were delicious. Thanks families, for your hard work and time.
This coming Thursday is our annual Holiday Cookie Cafe. This year we are adding a professional DJ for Karaoke. Should be fun. If some of you parents and family are lonesome or can't wait until your Mid comes home for the holidays, or they are at sea, I have a suggestion. Why don't you all pull out the crockpot from the basement shelf, and make Hot Mulled Cider. The aroma is wonderful! and then you get to the taste. We make it every year, and your Midshipmen at KP will be drinking and smelling this next Thursday at Cookie Cafe. Why don't you join us with a cup of Hot Mulled Cider in your home on Thursday afternoon.
